Can I create my own features for the app’s main screen or trip screen?

YES –

In your account settings, go to “Features” > “App Menu” and select the “Main Screen” or “Trip Screen” tab, according to where you would like to add the feature. 

Click on the “Add Feature” button, to create a new menu item. In the “Type” dropdown menu, you will have the option to add a link or document.

IMPORTANT: For the link, it’s recommended to make sure that the website is mobile responsive. Your link can also include dynamic values.

Using Dynamic Links

Here is an example: https://myservice.com?user_name=user_lastname

Simply add user_lastname  in the link and the app user’s name will be dynamically included.

Here are other dynamic values that can be added:

language
Language of the app (en, es, fr, de, it, pt, ru, ja, ar, zh, etc.)

currency
Currency of the app (ex. USD, GBP, etc.)

user_email
Traveler’s email

user_firstname
Traveler’s first name

user_lastname
Traveler’s last name

guide_identifier
Itinerary identifier (Trip ID field in the CMS, Guide Object > identifier in the API)

device_locale
Device’s locale (e.g. en_US, en_GB, fr_CA, fr_FR, etc.)

device_language
Language of the device (en, es, fr, de, it, pt, ru, ja, ar, zh, etc.)

device_currency
Device’s currency (ex. USD, GBP, etc.)

In addition, you can add more than one value in the same link. Here is an example: https://myservice.com?user_name=user_lastname&language=language
