Celebrating 10 Years of Customer Loyalty and Innovation

Founded in 2009 by Frederic de Pardieu, mTrip started as a B2C company with the goal of being a private guide for travelers around the world. A few months after being launched, these 40 destination apps received a wonderful welcome from travelers and members of the press. Apple regularly featured the destination apps on App Stores across the globe and even installed Featured inthe apps on iPhones in European Apple stores. Travelers were making the switch from paper travel guides to a modern alternative, with extensive destination information and innovative features. From offline maps and directions to augmented reality and the Trip Genius itinerary generator, these mobile destination guides provided travelers with a fresh experience.

As the number of requests for a mobile solution for travel agencies continued to grow, mTrip took the leap and pivoted its business model in 2014. Evolving into a B2B company, mTrip started providing white-label solutions to travel agencies in the leisure space. Shifting from mobile destination guides to a travel assistant app that targets major travel brands came with its challenges, but has given the opportunity to introduce incredible features and provide a high level of flexibility and personalization for each client. A few years after launching the white-label solution for leisure, we were convinced that business travelers and TMCs could benefit from a highly customizable and traveler-centric mobile solution, so we decided to take the next step.

MF Group2018 marked another important milestone for mTrip, when the company was acquired by the MisterFly group. Continuing its strategy in serving leisure and business travel companies, mTrip expanded to Europe and its collaborative relationship with MisterFly has only helped the solution grow even more. mTrip supports the group in going mobile with its OTA activity but also for its B2B activity, providing its unique technology to over 4,000 travel agencies.

Within a few years, mTrip became the number one white-label mobile solution for leisure and business travel with over 140 clients worldwide.
