mTrip launches completely redesigned travel guide in V2.5 for iPhone and Android!
Kicking off 2014 in style, mTrip is excited to announce the launch of V2.5 with our first major redesign! Over the years we’ve updated the design and added several popular features but V2.5 is the biggest update yet! Breaking off from our real-life based design, the travel guides now sport a flat user interface. The new interface is slicker, more functional and easier to use! We’ve also added some new features, such as additional trip planning options, new ways to sort the guide and a search option directly on the map.
So how exactly does the new design make the app better for you? What else is new?
Well, for starters, the new design is simpler to navigate. In the travel guide you get quicker access to all the detailed information you’ll need for your trip. The main page is now a list, while information for all the attractions, restaurants, bars, hotels and other places is presented in a clearer fashion. In the itinerary, we’ve managed to make it even smarter! You’ll see more options in the trip genius to help you automatically generate your personalized trip itinerary! For those of you creating your own trip, or editing your personalized trip itinerary we’ve also added some goodies for you!
You can now switch entire days in the itinerary, quickly mark a place as visited, remove it, get directions or more details about it , share your itinerary and more! Also, for our Android users, we’ve also added the ability to swipe between days in the itinerary. ;)
Also seeing touch ups are the 100% offline maps and directions. We are always doing our best to improve the maps and directions in the app and in this update we’ve added a new search feature on the map. We’ve also updated the offline navigation.
