Send your mobile app through SMS to your customers

mTrip’s mobile solution allows travel companies provide an app to their clients by sending an email which contains the download links and credentials. As part of the process to improve our mobile solution, we studied the app adoption by travel agencies clients. We noticed that approximately 20% of the people did not see the invitation email. How do we solve this issue?

Well, it’s most likely that the email didn’t draw the attention of the user as part of hundreds of other emails they receive or it arrived in their spam folder. Either way, the benefit of using SMS text messages to provide a message is its visibility: people receive a limited number of sms messages daily and there is no spam folder.

To solve this we’ve introduced a new feature: travel agencies and tour operators can now automatically send a sms to their client. The SMS includes a direct download link to the app for their coming trip.

SMS can be sent through both mTrip’s API or cloud based CMS.
