Avenue Q at Shakespeare Theatre Company

The Shakespeare Theatre Company is the nation’s premier destination for classical theatre and a performance house well worth your time if you are visiting Washington this Summer.

Avenue Q will be all over the theatre’s schedule this August, with showings well dispersed throughout the entire month. Avenue Q is Broadway’s smash-hit Tony Award winner in 2004 for best musical, best score and best book. The play’s premise is making it in New York with big dreams and a bank account that contradicts.
